Each work represents a conduit through which the essence of plants from specific locales and times is immortalized on fabric.
2024 Rosemary’s Choice wallhanging
A 60cm x 60cm wallhanging serving as a daily reminder of the nature that surrounds us. Collected with the customer near her home and printed with cyanotype there and then, the wallhanging is quilted with a black backing and loops to hang the piece with a wooden piece.
2024 Badlands Tapestry
Commemorating the wild flower and grass meadow that was started in 2020 by local volunteers following the destruction of a large area in South East London by the council through Glyphosate over-usage.
2020 Covid Tapestry
Commemorating a birth and the hot spring / summer of the first lockdown through plants captured from a 100m radius of a family home in South London.
